Camel Trekking In Merzouga

1 Night In Desert Camp Camel Trekking Tour In Erg Chebbi Merzouga :

This trip (1 Night in the desert) begins in the evening, we organize the camel ride for the night in the desert, the camels will be packed with food, blankets, and everything else we need. The trek will start right in the desert for 1:30 min, we will spend the night in an equipped camp with drums and music in the middle of the Sahara, this is a great opportunity to take pictures of the sunset and sunrise, when we arrive at the camp we walk to the dunes to see the sunset, it will be a magical night when the sky is bright and shine with intensity. During the first night, there will be a wonderful dinner around a campfire, we will spend the night in nomad tents.

You’ll have breakfast and a shower in the camp.

And will ride the camels back to Merzouga.

Camel Trekking 2 Nights Desert Merzouga :

This trip begins in the evening, we organize the camel ride for the night in the desert from a hotel near the dunes, The camels will be packed with food, blankets, and everything else we need. The trek will start right into the desert for 1:30 min, We will spend the night in an equipped camp with drums music in the middle of the Sahara, this is a great opportunity to take lovely pictures of the sunset and sunrise, when we arrive at the camp we walk to the dunes to see the sunset, It will be a magical night when the sky is clear of cover and stars sparkle and shine with intensity. 

During the first night, there will be a wonderful dinner around a campfire. We will spend the night in nomad tents. The following day, after breakfast in the camp, we will ride camels to visit and have lunch with nomad people. After relaxing and eating, we will return to the camp on camels. Once we reach the camp, we will leave the camels and take the sand broads. We will walk to the dunes and return to the camp after the sunset. The next morning, watch the sunrise and enjoy breakfast and a shower in the camp. Finally, we will ride the camels back to Merzouga.

Sunset Camel Tour In Erg Chebbi Merzouga :

The Sunset tour begins at around 5:30 pm. It takes almost half an hour to reach the dunes of Erg Chebbi Merzouga riding a camel. Then, we will leave the camels at about 80 meters to reach the highest dune of Merzouga.

For those who want to see a panoramic view they must climb to the top, it will take them another 10 minutes. If you prefer not to hike up the highest dunes, the area around the camel “parking” is perfect to watch the sunset. After having enjoyed that short time we travel back to the hotel/riad. This tour includes a stop at the garden oasis where you will have a short explanation about the canal system.

Sunrise Camel Tour In Erg Chebbi Merzouga :

The Sunrise Tour starts early and takes 35 minutes to reach the highest dune of (Erg Chebbi) Merzouga. This tour includes a visit to the garden on the way back. For this tour, you don’t need to set the alarm clock. Enjoy your night and we will come around for a wake-up call

How To get to Merzouga :

BUS TIME INFORMATION

From Fes: There is a daily bus from Fes to Merzouga, leaving Fes at 20:00 “Night time” and arriving at Merzouga at 05:00 in the morning, the Bus is called “SUPRATOURS”.

From Marrakech: There is a daily day bus that leaves Marrakech at 08:00 in the morning and arrives at Merzouga at 20:00 “Night time” the bus is called (SUPRATOURS).

How you will meet us in Merzouga (desert)??

If you come by bus from Marrakech or Fes: We will meet you at Merzouga bus station and then pick up you there.

If you have a rental car: We will meet you at our Auberge in Merzouga where you will have a room to leave your luggage that you will not take with you to the desert and shower when you come back from your desert camel trek!
